Life Lynx: The lynx Alojzije has been relocated to Croatia

We are happy to show you some unique sequences with the relocation of a lynx (Lynx lynx) from the Eastern Carpathians to Croatia in an international project that proves once again that the countries of the European Union know how to work together when needed to save their rare species of to extinction.

A specimen of lynx, this time named Alojzije, was transported and released in the area of Mount Velebit in Croatia, after being captured by the ACDB team with the support and involvement of the staff of the National Forest Directorate – Romsilva in the international project LIFE Lynx.
